HOF Nomination Information

All THPA members are encouraged to nominate deserving candidates for the Texas Hall of fame. A written biography of the candidate's contribution or achievements to Texas Horseshoes should be submitted and mailed by June 1 of the current pitching year to be considered for that year. Any nominations received after July 1 will be considered the following year. To meet qualifications, a candidate must:

1. Have been a THPA member for 5 years at some time in THPA history

2. Have superior contributions to Texas Horseshoes as a pitcher or organizer/supporter of the game. Achievements and contributions should be based on a state level rather than solely on a local or club level.

3. No dual nominations will be considered. Each candidate will be considered solely on his or her merit. There are many outstanding THPA members that meet these qualifications and deserve to be considered by the Hall of Fame Committee. Please send your nominations with their biographies to Duck Englehardt so they will be received by July 1st.
