Lavern Wilcox

Lavern Wilcox was inducted into the THPA Hall of Fame in 2008 becoming the 35th Member to be inducted.

Lavern is one of the founding charter members of the Waco club and has been vital to this elite group since it's formation in 1989, making her a 20 year member.

Over the past several years she has served as Secretary for 6 years and Tournament director for 9 years under the CTHPA. Her contribution to the game of horseshoes also extend to the State level. She has served as THPA's State Tournament Director for the past 6 years. Without Lavern's hard work and dedication our previous State tournaments would not have functioned as smoothly as they have. 

Lavern has done more than her share; and for the past 20 years she has been essential to the success of the sport we all know and love and has rightfully earned a spot in the THPA Hall of Fame.
